Good evening, 919 Gang.

I’m grateful for the Rebergram as a rich mix of the unexpected and the memorable, the quirky and the profound —all from our irrepressible tribe.
The other day I wrote a note to my editor in chief about an item in the newsletter we produce, and I was chuckling to myself at making a journalism joke.
“I added an Editor’s note at the top for transparency, while also, paradoxically, giving us cover,” I wrote.
Thud/silence. It seems only I was amused.
Anybody got better journalism jokes?
REBER: I usually discourage jokes. The Internet is so full of them we could easily clog our arteries. But journalism jokes? That’s something different. Let’s hear them.

I loved watching the old black and white Photo Lab movie and recognized quite a few faces. Gosh but Tony was young! It was interesting to see the old 919 building, the loading dock, etc. I hope "The General" never got his hands on a copy!
Thank you for posting the link to Ron and Mary James’ magazine. It is so well done. Two years ago my stepson, Andrew and his wife, Kim, spent their honeymoon in Spain.
